Anyone into R/C?

Get ready for losing your ass unfortunately. I used to work at hobbytown usa and I raced nitro truggy 1/10 scale and every time I sold stuff I lost my ass but thats the way it is in rc. Looking back I wish I woulda kept my stuff for later in life when I know ill have the itch again. The hobby itch comes and goes every couple years for me

Well it's gonna make a lot easier for me to switch my battery out. I dont want to move it to the front just yet. It really doesnt seem to have any ill effects on it.

I found weight in the wheels is best, but depending on your setup you might be better off with weight on the axles.

 

I have 2oz in each front and 1oz in each rear. I really hope your seller comes through for ya also. I had a similar experience a few weeks ago where the guy was gonna wait till an item that was out of stock came in but he wouldnt answer me. I then asked for a refund and he replied but i was worried.

 

I never gift to buy anything especially r/c related, hope the seller pulls through for you.

Got a set of Traxxas big bores for it if your interested. Them and the purple springs that come with the PS wraith make a nice soft set up. There is some picks a page or two back of them. They are brand new.

 

What motor would you suggest for an upgrade to my honcho. Want better crawling capablility then stock.. I heard you were the guy to ask. Thanks

Keeping the stock esc? if you want a completely better system you may wanna swap the motor and esc. But if not you can still get much better performance from just going to like a 35t holmes torque master

I ordered a RC4wd trail finder 2 for my early bday present. I should have it and start building tomorrow or Tuesday. Going to run a tekin fxr with 45t, traxxas waterproof servos, 2s lipo, and a Spektrum dx3c. I am excited to be back in this hobby. It has been about 5 years since I've had an RC.

Just cracked the body right open on my 1/10 crawler. Anyone have a body they'd suggest for a replacement? It's not a scale crawler, so functionality (clearance) first, looks second. The mounts go through the sides too, not the top.
