    smart, thinking about your finances.

my friend has the exact same truck. no leaks, great truck..but he says the MPG is dismal. he never drives it anymore..and they only run around in their Jeep Liberty, which is a much dumber vehicle.

I've always wondered why anyone unless they are an avid poster feels the need to tell the masses they sold their truck and bought something else? Did some ask "where did so and so go?"

You did the what I did, but the other way. went from a 01 5.9 to a 12 Tacoma. I i must admit, at time I do miss my truck but, don't miss the slippy transmission. good luck!

Congrats on the truck. Pay no attention to the haters. Funny logo things but their isnt many trucks that can stand up to the Cummins i mean none. Too many with over a million miles.

Totally understand the not wanting payments!!!! I hope your new truck treats you we'll. I went from a 2010 ram 1500 4.7 that was killing me on gas and the interior was just falling apart after a couple of years. I did not have any mechanicals go bad though. Good luck and hope you enjoy your new truck.

    Exactly.

But happy trails! My brother owns a RAM too and I always bug him for it. I tell him Dodge spends all their time and money making it look good, that's it. :p

Maybe I just did not want to answer you and you are really digging to give me another negative rep for the same type of thread.

Maybe you should Change your Name to DUchebagPnoyboss.

That's still a sore spot with me from my Ram. If any of you could have seen the look on my face when the service manager gave me a price of $850 to repair the heater core you'd laugh. I honestly thought he was joking.

And living in FL at the time I laughed and told him it that I didn't need a heater. I lasted for 3 months till the temp dropped down to 19 one day.
