2. I had the same noise, it was a heat shield hitting my caliper.

 

okay on 2. im hoping its the heat shield. didnt want it to be the wheel bearing.. how'd you guys fix it? bend it away?

 

Toyota dealership replaced it free of charge during my 100k service. But I'm sure you could just bend it away easily enough.

 

Mine is doing the same thing right now. Don't drive it enough to care to mess with it

The rear diff mod for me was super easy.. I ran it through where my tailight mounts no drilling. i'll see if i can hunt down a link

Hey Kevin I wouldn't worry about putting grease in those bushings, its just there to lessen squeaky poly on metal. The biggest thing is to make sure you plug the holes before you take it offroad so no dirt gets in and makes it noisy. The easy way to plug them is use silicone rubber sealant, then you can always put fittings in later.
