Just gave the truck a tune up mostly and put the CIA on. CIA improved throttle response by a hair, but I had it fed to the front which thus clogged it with bugs and dirt after my AK trip. My wife and I are moving atm; therefore cash is at a minimum and truck mods will be few and far between for some time. Doesn't stop me from dreaming. The truck is close to 400,000km's, which translates to a lot of miles, and needs some love. I think I may re-valve the head and put in an rv26 cam. Dual batteries will be in line at some point in time along with a snorkel to feed into the CIA and some other things...

    thanks for complement!

:eek:Wow that almost 250,000Miles. But it wouldn't surprise me if it went another 400,000Km's. Can't wait to see your mods come to life:thumbsup:.

I just measured the space between my seats and compared that to the dimensions of the console that I found on ebay.

Really, the best you've seen? I'll take the compliment for sure, but I'm pretty sure there's some higher quality stuff out there.lol. You should check out expedition overland's Alaska/ Yukon trip, pretty spectacular. That'll be me making those videos one day I hope.

Great video! My wife and I toured Alaska a few years ago, but we flew in to Anchorage and rented an RV for the trip. It was fun, but I think the Taco would be way better. I have some friends in Anchorage and Homer. We made the loop from Anchorage to Fairbanks and back plus the Kenai. We were restricted to hard surfaced roads with the RV rental, but even the "highways" get pretty interesting in AK. We followed some pilot cars on part of the state highway that had been wiped out by an avalanche earlier in the year. Dang, watching that video sure makes me miss Alaska!

Just watched your video and I have to hand it to you, that 6,300 miles is a LONG trip. Something I'd love to do one day.

It was a great trip, we'll be doing something similar sometime. We didn't manage to drive the Denali Highway, and we still want to go to Inuvik and Dawson City...
