    CLA helps out with the love handle/lower ab area. It'll help with reducing the size of the fat cells and tighten up that area. It takes about a month to notice visible difference.

    The best fat-burner is green tea, cardio, and a low-carb diet. I'm about 3 weeks into keto and am down to 188 from 205. Still got a few months to go. Watch out, Steve Cook

    EDIT: Just want to throw out there that the only form of cardio I do is walking to and from my truck. I hate that shit

    I'm on my phone. But I have many of memes for this. Feel free to insert your own. No I don't respect it. I respect the crossfitters on TV. As I said before poor form and speed is a horrible mixture. I respect hard work, dedication, and doing things the right way. Crossfit itself is not wrong. But the way it's presented is.


    Also on te CLA it won't do much, if anything, unless your diet and fitness are in check. CLA just raises your Thermogenic properties within your bodies... Just keep a good diet and exercise plan.

    Do you guys do protein on rest days ? I workout monday thru Friday and don't go to the gym Saturday or Sunday, but normally still doing something active, normally dirtbike riding. I don't take a protein shake on the weekends except a casien before bed Sunday night

    I do, only b/c half of my protein intake comes from shakes, so if I didn't do 2 shakes a day, my protein would be at like 100g/day. Plus, I like the taste and I'm too lazy to cook the extra meals

    About this CrossFit stuff. Crossfit is a widely overused word. I used to do it quite a bit, (as in followed the website, journal, seminars, etc..). Everyone at work was doing it, so it was the norm. This was 5+ years ago though. Before Reebok, before the games were filled with juicers (no offense), before there were 3 CF gyms in every town. Now it's turned into the new term for circuit training and HIIT. Probably b/c that's all it really is.

    Crossfit isn't anything new. Glassman just put a name on circuit training/HIIT. Sure there are some different movements, but a good bit have been around way before the CF name hit the scene. Now anytime someone does any type of bodyweight movement paired with an olympic lift, it's labeled crossfit. Hell, just programming a burpee into a training plan probably gets the CF headquarters' lawyers moving.

    The reason why it's so popular is the exact reason why it was founded. It gives everyone a chance at something to trump someone they are either jealous of or idolize. Now that skinny kid can do more pull-ups then the big kid who used to make fun of him. Or the fat kid can squat more then his in-shape brother. More importantly, the mediocre athlete who is in shape can now find a couple things he is good at, and exploit them in races (called WODs) against others who can beat him in a straight comparison.

    Every type of working out has their top athletes, and their bottom ones. It's best to either lend a helping hand or get out of their way. No matter how much you disagree with their idea of fitness, at least they are attempting to better themselves. Unlike the fatties out there who think they should be able to eat shit and not look like it. Like it's some kind of right written in the Amendments that states you can eat krispy kreme, watch tv all day, and look like Jessica Biel.
