Ohh really I didn't know that. We are currently experiencing a big snowstorm, what causes the engine to starve. Is it from snow piling up in the snorkel?

You got it. I also have a window screen in the neck just past the opening of the snorkel so that probably doesn't help either. Leaving my truck sitting outside in a snow storm for 8+ hours will cause the whole head of the snorkel to fill with snow. That's happened a couple times so now I just put a bag over the snorkel before walking away from the truck.

wheels, tires, retrofits/bhlm, 5100's front an rear, Billet Grille, debadged, tinted tail lights, plate bumper, fender flares, pink pink pink :).. so far

Unfortunately I got barely any pics :( but here are a couple ones that I got. Our buddy got stuck on a stump.. how? No one knows, but he was first in line and blocked the trail for everyone. So we had to get out and walk a couple miles till we ran into a group of wheelers that had a high lift. We really weren't prepared to go wheeling. But with a bunch of stock rigs who would be right... I usually don't go out with these guys that often but when we do we usually don't go up this trail for this reason lol wish I would have got better pics of the more challenging parts of the trails but there was no getting out lol

Oh an had to post a pic of my lap pup. He was too funny, he's not used to me riding in the back seat so he decided to become a 125lb lap dog..

Great wheelin pics and thanks for sharing! Still wondering how your buddy got stuck on that stump but at least its a lesson about going a bit better prepared next time. Some of the best wheelin can be impromptu so I usually keep all my recovery gear in the truck at all times.

Too funny about your "lap dog". We got 3 dogs in the house as well, 2 goldens and a lab and there's no way any of them are sitting on my lap lol

At first glance it looks as if there is a white snake in the front basket lol Really questioning as to why they have a pic of that chic on the bike tho.

That first ad is a great deal! Especially for a '13 in black with that low of mileage. I'm gonna do some research and see exactly what it takes an atv across the border and how much that will add into the costs.

Oh and in other news, black paracord is in. My gf made mention of my brown wrapped handles looking like an empty TP roll sitting there lol so needless to say i'm looking forward to wrapping everything in black.

Also working on a new short snow wheelin vid from around town. We got dumped on pretty good last night. So far this morning I've rescued an ambulance, van and an suv. Can't believe how many vehicles do not have adequate recovery/tow points.

If I wanted a tac black I'd be all over it! But alas, I have camo and am WAY happier with it than I would have been with the tactical black.

I really laughed at the toilet paper roll comment haha

Hey Mike don't know exactly what your looking for, but Ski at CT motorsports was mentioning he had a set of bedsides for $150, when I was talking about the high clearance bumper install . Don't know if they have the flares or exact condition but if they do You may be able to get flares for pretty cheap.

I heard tac black ones were faster tho? ;)

Hey Peter, thanks for letting me know about this. Did Ski happen to mention what colour they were? I'm actually looking for the flares only for all 4 corners. But hey in the fenders happen to come with it, that might be worth my while.

I believe this has been the coldest temps my truck has seen so far.... With windchill it was -40 degree Celsius...

Now that it has warmed slightly (-8) , I rewrapped my handles with black paracord 550. I still need to do the back door handles and I'm kinda undecided whether to wrap the front door handles as well. But so far I like the look of it much more.

I think they were silver, but I cant remember if they were for a short bed, or a long bed.

For $150 (I believe that's what he said) an extra set of fenders for that "oops" moment may come in handy, even if you have to get them painted. Goodluck

Great! Thanks for the heads up. I'll give him a shout tomorrow morning then. Hopefully they are for a Short bed. Extra fenders would definitely be handy ;)

That wrap looks better Mike  I found some grey para-cord at KW Surplus for 10 bucks :D Haven't done it yet though - too cold.....

Monday night after work it was -28 here and -40 with the wind chill. Taco still started, but I had to let it warm up for the clutch to work properly. Ryan needed a boost.

I bet! Same temps here and when I started my truck at 11pm the clutch pedal barely went to the floor and almost wouldn't come back up! My truck took a couple seconds to turn over... That got me thinking, how long is an OEM battery good for? I just rolled 100K and have winched quite a bit, I'd imagine that would wear a battery out faster?

10 bucks is a great deal for that paracord. Is it the 550 stuff? I think I paid about $14 shipped to my door (for 100ft) from Ebay...

    Mike,
Handles look good. I did mine it black and I really like how it turned out. Now I am gonna try to make the headrest handles you posted previously; I really think the kiddos will appreciate them. Any advice on how you or your buddy did them?

    It's 100' of 300lb test - 3/16" - $8.99 +tax

Tied it like a noose - is that how you did it?

    Here's my first attempt:
