Good time in Bear today. Wish I got more wheeling in, but I spent the whole afternoon trying to find the group because I left later.

Andre, thanks for letting us shoot. That was a blast :D

Hiatt, I got the Sizzler waiters # for you. He said something about having a 2 month supply of vasoline in his basement waiting for the right guy.

I'd have to say was very strange in what I got stuck in not how. The how was a medium speed drift gone bad. The strange was what I got stuck on. It wasn't just a simple soft berm there. There was a big corrugated drainage tube under the rear end of my truck. The end of the tube had a big wide steel collector that my diff dropped into and then the corrugated tube was cut out on top so it was open and my right rear tire dropped into the tube. I had to dig out underneath the collector to get it away from my diff and drive shaft thankfully the dirt was real soft and made it easier. Once that piece was out of there it was a pretty easy winch job to get back on the road.
Couple things that came out great here though. The shovel I carry on my bedrack that my wife and kids are constantly making fun of worked like a champ....and I sure as fuck rubbed it into my kids nose as he was there with me, told him to make sure he told mom too ;) It was also the first time I used my winch so it's nice to see my investments getting put to good use!

Thanks go to Andre with helping on some of the digging and gathering some big rocks to go under the rear wheels, Rodger for being the anchor for winching me out and Ryan for the use of his shovel also. Then there was Hiatt....his job was to keep making fun of me so everyone was laughing and forgetting how much it sucks to dig out an idiot ;)

You can see the drainage collector under my rear diff in the second pic pretty well. One thing that scared the shit out of me right after it happened was when I looked under the truck and saw that plate...I thought it was my skid plate at first, I walked to the front and took a look to make sure.

yea i thought it had a cement top on the drain where the diff was and was worried it might be stuck, but then went over to the passenger side and saw it was metal
