I saw when the Ducks ran Lack - was hoping Laurie would come in

 

Couldn't watch the bronze medal game. Like most Canadians, if it ain't gold, we don't really care. I recognize there is a lot of international talent, but at the end of the day, Canadian juniors have to play under so much pressure and scrutiny it kills them. If they just got out there and free wheeled, I think the results would have been different.

They just were not as good this year as the other teams. Can't always win. We also usually send the most 18-19 year Olds to the NHL, but that's not excuse really

 

It wasn't a strong year. They finished 4th because the other teams were better, plain and simple

Canada is deep up the centre but i am sorry not to see Thornton on the roster though. Love is play making

 

Second guessing the Canadian Olympic picks is a national sport in itself. Nevertheless, I can't really argue with who is on this team. Let's face it, they had so many talented players to choose from, there had to be excellent players left behind. Now, with all this talent, let's hope they can come together as a "team" when the puck drops.

Hamhuis on Canada is a complete joke. So many players before him on the depth chart. Also, picking Marleau, Nash, and Bouwmeester just shows you they are trying to build a team of career losers and underperformers. At least they got the goalies right
Oh and St Louis not there but Kunitz is a fucking joke as well

I still don't think Phaneuf should be on the team as there are more mobile guys then him I would pick, but this is just hilarious that Hamhuis is a fucking Olympian. Fuck we better win

 

You've probably seen Hamhuis play what , one game this year ?
