It's below 0 now so in an hour we'll see if it can handle negative temps

I have only run full synthetic oil in my truck and had no issues down in the -50's. is anyone running a non synthetic oil and reaching these low temps with your truck still starting?

If the truck has been sitting outside for a while, windchill has no effect on the truck, except for maybe the washer fluid sprayed onto your windshield. ;)

Lowest temp I have ever experienced:

every truck ive had makes that loud ass growl when starting in freezing temps.

i moved up here this summer, didnt install one. truck works just fine. most of the people here on base cant plug in on swings or mids anyway, so its not like you have the option for your 8 hour + shift. just let it run more before you take off. what section you PCS'ing to?

Coldest was this morning. It was 8 and the truck started right up, no whining, just did it's job. My wife's Honda on the other hand sounded like a kid trying to get up for school in the morning.
