    Those fyckers are wicked! They'll go right through a urethane boot outsole. I'll skive a line around the base with my saw and then come back next year and no more stickers:)
    But ya great firewood. I didn't realize they were fast growing. Are they referred to as honey locust in y'all's regions?

    I don't know if it's the same or not! It's yellow when fresh cut, but it's called Black Locust around here!:notsure:

    4' rack of Locust, bin is Locust limbs split for kindling, and the cardboard box is full of the Pennysaver and dimensional pine scraps to start the fires in the morning!

    Lol...three trees that's just the branches...those piles are 3 deep in piles and I didn't start splitting yet!...the stuff I need to split is waay! bigger than I thought. Either way splitting is in my future....but lifting them to the log splitter is the biggest problem:eek:

    You need to rent a vertical logsplitter for a day. Or buy a Stickler LOL. Our ash species around here split easily with a maul, and even gigantic 30" or bigger rounds can usually be slabbed off in pieces by hand. Great problem to have!
