I have, yes. It was fairly easy. Before you do it, take careful notice of your needle positions.

There is a black pressure switch behind the door, on the rear door, or rear of the cab depending which truck you have. I am going to try and post a pic. take a socket and unscrew the bolt that holds it in and then unplug it, and that should take care of it. The pressure switch i am refering to is NOT the switch below the striker plate. Hope this helps. Jason

Thank you, thank you THANK YOU, Toyotamudbogs! Thank you to ToyoBlair, who authored that thread you linked! And THANK YOU TACOMAWORLD!!! Oh, the sweet, sweet sound of silence when I open my door; silence, SILENCE, the most beautiful, wonderful sound in all the WORLD!!!

To say I "loathe" that MF-ing beeping sound is like saying "the Universe is big." It literally enrages me.

I disabled my '04 Prerunner's beeper using the door switch, and although the overhead light only worked manually after that, it was well worth it. But on my 2014, that door switch also disables the automatic headlight shutoff! I had to get closer to the source of the problem this time. I also cut the wires to the seat belt buckle weeks ago, but the door beeper was still eating away at my soul.

    THANKS AGAIN!!!

No prob man I know how you feel. I ran 2 wires to the door switch and back to my dash I put a switch . Like you said it would cut the light off . And I had to be jumped off alot . I would forget to flip the switch back and my lights would stay on . So I found this thread and unplugged it. And took out the wires and rewired the switch back. I hates that dingen racket .
