AF at McGuire AFB, NJ. I'm an aircraft machinist/welder. I like it. To anyone looking to join the military, it depends on what you want out of it. Imo the AF is the most laid back, but to each his own. We need people in all branches. Good luck in your decisions.

96 went away with the rest of the cold war MOSs. No need for ground radar when there is no front line or uniformed enemy. Yes all Army MI is now 35 series.

I think the Army and Marines is less beef and more just rivalry. Who else are we going to have a rivalry with?

    Good stuff man.

If I didn't have knee surgery, I would be in the DEP with an Oct ship date to Parris Island.

But now I get to get DQ'd at MEPS, then send in a waiver. fun fun.

I was in the Biloxi area for a good 6 months for training. I am in the Dc area right now. I noticed your sig shows you in Hagerstown. I am in your neck of the woods. Currently in Falls church, VA. Hit me up if your in the area. We can have some beers and compare truck notes.

I didn't care much for Biloxi. I never got used to the slimy water. I work in Arlington near the Pentagon. You are probably thinking about Bolling AFB which is soon to be gone. The Navy is taking over the entire base. BRAC is still being worked on I guess.

Just send me a message if you come down this way. Always cool to meet another Taco enthusiast.
