No one that I've hear denies there is climate change. Since the beginning of time most likely in many opinions.

But, the debate is...are the changes man made? And can it be proven without bias and accepted as proof without politicizing it?

Further...are you willing to pay for it in the form of taxes or fees or higher energy costs?

I remain skeptical. Especially when politicians and their partners in media push it.

Please don't even bring up the p-word in this thread. Fine if we talk about climate change, but it should go no further than that. I like this thread and don't want it going downhill.

IMO man definitely had and has an effect on it. I just don't think its as much as some say.

My intention is not to bring politics into it. But the issue has been highly politicized. That was my point.

And I'd agree that man has effect/influence on everything. And I agree that card probably has been overplayed in the climate change debate...for reasons including the p-word.

    That's all.

Meanwhile we are freezing our butts in Florida. Maybe global cooling pattern? Or possibly just a snapshot of MUCH larger global climate picture?

I don't think so. Just a weather fluke. Same sort of thing happened about 20 years ago. I remember it being about -20 up at my cabin. I'm sure its happened before then. Don't think it came down as far south as it did this time though. Although this might start up the we are entering the ice age theories no doubt.

Pretty much how the world is with everything, no? Give me enough money I'll tell you the sky is green. No matter what and how much convincing evidence is shown to me.

Smoking is good for you! Leaded gasoline doesn't cause any problems, you can protect yourself from nuclear fallout with newspaper, the Sun orbits around the Earth, and you can turn lead into gold!

Now, a random buried cabin to distract you all![IMG]

Indeed. That sort of snowfall would require some very rugged construction.

Never said all work for government, no more than all work for big oil.

As usual, you fold your tent when confronted with conflicting views that prove the fallacy to your own.
