Yah u might be able to impact it down but I wouldn't wanna force it that far. I'm gonna take a pic of the X runner bracket for length and reference today. Spacer just needs some meat on it so it doesn't start to slip into that hole.

So you guys drilled a hole in the hanger perch right? then nut and bolt to connect? Just wondering if I could do a smaller spacer, height wise, to lower the sheer force that happens at that connection.

 

There's a hole already there I just slipped the bolt through t b e x brace and up into the hole. I slid the nut in there prior to the hat and threaded it onto the end of the bolt once it poked through. Yah I think the X runners bracket is ab out an inch and a half down from the perch. I'll get the ha through he measurement today.

 

What is the major dofference in the lebgth of the sleeve? Leverage? Stiffness? I could see why something thicker more heavy duty is desired just never really realized it needed to be spaced

 

i wouldnt know but thats how the setup is on the x runner so it must be engineered to work setup that way from toyota

 

I honestly can't figure it out either. Maybe it's strong with the added tab on the perch

Lol I donno bro I do know it was probably easier for them to weld on this bracket for the c runners so it bolts up easy rather than change the whole perch. To put our x brace exactly the way the x runners is without forcing the brace we would need a spacer that is 1-3/8" long. That what I measure from the hole on the perch to the bottom of the bracket on the xrunners. What's up wit it Phil! I think we're using 5/8 bolts shit I can't even remember now lol. Ill have to check on that too. Womp wooomp

 

Get me the exact dimensions that you need and I will get going on them. Flat rate, plus materials plus 50 in labor. You gots my paypal.

ok i just have to remmeber what size bolt mine is so i can make sure the bolt slips through the hole in the middle then i guess how much meat around the hole. maybe like half inch of solid metal all the way around? Ill get back with you.

 

Let Daddy calc out what size material you need. They are going to be exactly the same as the aluminum drop spindle spacers I sent you, minus the hardware. If the bolt is 5/8's or smaller then 1-1/8 solid stock aluminum should suffice giving you 1/4" of meat on each side. Just get me the length you want them cut at and the bolt diameter. Rylan are you interested in a set as well?

 

Yeah, I am interested as long as it doesn't get to expensive.

I believe the biggest bolt we can run is 7/16, I will have to check that though.

 

Werd, probably do them for 75 shipped. Just need to double check to see what Aluminum is going for /lb right now. And yeah, check the bolt, get me the height and I will handle the rest.

I want it as close to the x-runner height, it could be nothing or it could be Toyota engineering lol
