    09 TRD sport DC w/ 90k. How long should shocks last and what would be a good upgrade to replace these OEM shocks?

    Depending on how you have used the truck they are probably worn out.Bilstein 5100 seem to be the most common upgrade on this site..

    Are you serious TOR! I didn't even know there doing it for trucks. It,s the best shock you can have on an offroad bike. They should be pretty expensive! Give us some more details.

    They make all sorts of styles. Those were specifically valved for my truck. All sorts of measurements and weights had to be taken. However, the length of those are specifically for my lowered truck. Another length would be needed for the regular height or taller.

    $1450 for the pair. No springs, or top adapter for the strut tower. And oh were they worth it. :D

    How long they would last will be related to a lot of factors. The use, the weather, the milleage. But i think we can say that for a normal use they will last at least 5 years or 60 000 miles.


    About your second question, i don't think you will received here the answer you are looking for. You should at leat supply a lot of details about the way you're planning to use the truck and there is so many threads already covering this subject, you should do a search using wors like king, blistein, ICON, Fox, camburg, etc....

    Yeah very expensive. I've looked for a custom rear one on my KTM 950 SER and it was about 2K.


    The ones you are showing, are they for the rear or is a second set for the front?
