Judging by the light the work day was 4 hrs and play time was 8hrs? :D

Love the Black Canyon. There used to be a nice trail you could hike the entire north rim on it.

stayed at the old town inn

got back to the inn from the brick oven and it was starting to snow...woke up and it was still snowing :D

knew it was going to be a good day...

didn't take many photos as it was dumping all day :D

got back to my truck for a beer and food break
    [IMG]

after beer break, i went back for a couple last runs...there's a section called monument where i hit some deeeeep pockets..probably best turns of the day...close to waist deep

then the sun tried to come out...just enough for me to see the summit
    [IMG]

    windy as fuck up there!

then the snow came back and socked the mountain in again...

looking forward to going back there...talked to a few locals and ski patrol and got me excited for the good stuff, but the coverage was still pretty boney so i stayed to the better coverage and found plenty of good stuff to play in

    fuck driving sucked!

much of the drive back down to the gunnison valley was this..

    then gunnison valley

I'd hope so too! They're over 100 already but judging by how they reported Saturday, they have had well over that..

I'll see if I can make it out that Sunday to ride.

You staying in town or at the mtn town?

Most likely getting a cabin in Almont. If you don't make it out we should grab a beer in Denver. I'll be spending Thursday night there and flying home Saturday around noon

Nice Bob, CB is the titties. The terrain on the north face is second only to Silverton in my mind.

can't stop thinking about getting the truck up to moab shape :goingcrazy:

i'm pretty set on 315/75/16 STTs, but tough decision between

    FN Wheels Five Star
    [IMG]

    SCS SR8
    4026D300-A476-40EB-ABC6-8DEFC68F64B3-401_eab7920d60191d6958e1e21ef0002d5f784c0f42.jpg

    or SCS F5
    0830_replace_4_zpsbc0dd3ed_564e2fa50b115bfca9da1baae498936cd5f6363a.jpg

leaning toward the bronze for the new setup... i'm leaning toward the SR8 mainly due to the backspacing...4" versus 3.52" on the FN and 3.5" or 4.5" on the F5...3.5" may be too much and 4.5" may not be enough

then waiting on TC LCAs and coilovers...i'll need to order up a new leaf pack (leaning toward the dakars again or Toytec Boss)...then tear into the dual battery setup when i get that in the mail...and get a new set of sliders put on...

    :goingcrazy:

Those bronze SR8s will look awesome with your truck color and the 4" BS I think is ideal for TC LCAs. I rub mine a bit with 4.5 BS. I was thinking of putting on some Wheelers stealies @ 4" but I might just swap out the whole suspension instead, time will tell.

Why are you thinking of changing rims and tires again? MTRs not doing it for you?

After running STTs and MTRs, I think the MTRs are a better tire. Just my two cents, not that you asked for it haha.
