Late reply but I'm up for this. My weekends have now opened after now that the holidays are over.

In other news, anyone see the dancing santa behind Sarah Delange during the 6 o'clock news when she was at the Kittery Public Works Dept?? :spy:

You? Why were you dressed as Santa? I saw that report this evening and said to the GF "Why the F**k is there a Santa at the KPW, in the middle of a ball-freezing snowstorm?"
And she said "Don't say gross things" and didn't answer my question.:pout:

    Just a word of caution...

The road are WICKED slippery out there! 295 was glare ice on my way in to work tonight. The secondary roads were not much better. Stay safe out there if you have to travel tonight.

hello fellow brethren, i come today to ask a favor from someone in this great state of Maine, is there anyone in here that can help me with a title issue? I'm wanting to buy a truce from my bud but he doesn't have a title, i know maine is a title less state, and if someone can pm me i can discuss further, i need someone to mail me a bill of sale from maine stating i bought the truck from them so i can register in sc, i am not a scammer and will pay all shipping and mailing costs, just need a title. backstory is he bought the truck from someone in nc and the guy never gave him the title and he's tired of messing with it, and its a great deal to pass, he said he was going to scrap if i don't buy so I'm buying it, for parts nothing less.

If it's less than 15 years old you need a title. Not sure if the state has a way for him to transfer ownership without a title. He should visit the DMV and explain his situation, and see if anybody can find him a solution to his problem.

here in sc its 25 years, he tok it to the dmv and they inspected it and he filled the proper paperwork and they sent it to columbia dmv (the sc headquarters ) and they have confirmed that it was delivered to the real owner and he never filled it out and mailed it back and now we can't get a hold of him and not sure what to do, I've heard about a bonded title but don't want to mess with that. I've thought about filling for a duplicate and signing it over to myself but i need that guys info and the title # which i can't get without the title, but if had the title i would be fine... i know a lot of people say no title no buy, but this thing is a survivor and i just can't let it be crushed, its a 89 ex cab v6 4x4 with immaculate interior and exterior and it only has 112k miles.....

Don't listen to him. Real Mainers wear flannel shirts and wool pants and call it good enough until it's below freezing. Then we put on long johns and drink Allen's Coffee Brandy to take the chill off.
We also burn wood and keep our houses as hot inside during the winter as the weather we complained about being too hot during the summer.

89's more than 15 years old, guy. No title needed to register it here in ME. Just a bill of sale and proof of insurance.

I don't know know if we can do anything for you. WE would have to have a bill of sale from the original owner selling it to someone here. Then selling it to you. I'm sure there is a bunch of legalese that would raise some red flags somewhere along the line.
I had to send to Scotland for a signature for my van to get the Title transferred. If i had not gotten it ,the van would have been confiscated and impounded if i had it on the road even though i had registered it.

I would talk to a lawyer or someone that may have a different avenue to go.
