Would anyone be interested in a small wheeling meet in the future? I know of one spot in the deep river/chester area that is pretty stock friendly, sorta small though. Theres a few other places i have heard of that might be worth checking out. If we can get a group going that doesn't mind a few scratches maybe we can plan something a few sundays out.

Evan, you read my mind....that was one of a few reasons I started this thread. Plus it's cool to see who is around. But yea I'd be down to go. I'm stock except for wheels and tires. For now at least. As an aside, what kind of scratches we talking lol?

Id be up for a little offroad meet. Though my truck is pretty much stock not looking to do anything to wild.

Only legal place I know of in CT is Nepaug state park, though Ive never been there.

My favorite local trail is a little tight. A good coat of wax would probably prevent any clear coat scratches. If we go there i could scout it before hand and do a gopro vid. There is always the putnam CT spot (not really in putnam but close) where we usually do trail runs with all the MA/RI/NH guys. I have never been to nepaug but there is a member here who has been and would probably show us around there. I have heard of something in the middletown area that i really want to check out but it may not be stock friendly.

Pat from Litchfield CT. Just bought my 2010 regular cab tacoma 4x4 in May, new to the Toyota family. No pics yet, its all stock other than wet okole seat covers and weather tech floor mats.

Im about 20 minutes from Nepaug, ive mountain biked there and have never seen any driving trails, but that doesnt mean they dont exist.

Jason and Justin, love your tires, ive been looking for a new set and will definetly consider those now. I will put up a pic asap. Let me know of any meets, my brother has a 2003 regular cab 4x4 and we may be interested in coming out. Take care CT.

I will recommend talking to Vin at SCS Performance for these wheels. He is awesome to deal with and has an excellent product.

    Welcome BTW!!

When you bought the light bars, how did you mount them? What bracket did you get from the Blitz?

I just got one in the mail yesterday. They have 2 mounting options, sliding bottom mounts and side mounts. I talked to a gopro rep about different mounting options becasue i wanted the most low profile option. He told me they are coming out with a cradle mount soon that will allow the light to sit very low. I got the side mounts for now but i may need to modify them so they light doesn't sit to high.
I will snap some pictures for you soon.

Here are some pictures. I am guessing that there are additional brackets for the bottom mount. You need to select which brackets you want when you order

Heres where mine is going, it will have two light force 170s hanging from the hoop above it. I might push the light bar all the way over to one side so i can mount my winch solenoid next to it for easy access. Thats if everything fits.
