New to forums. I live in Humboldt. Where are some good off road trails? I'm not looking to rock crawl, just a nice trail to ride with 11 year old son.

Hello and welcome! If you're looking for something fun and easy going, I would recommend some of the numerous forest service roads around here. You can grab a map at any of the forestry stations to pick up a map. They are usually very scenic and have very driveable terrain.

I lived in the hills for many years and have property off forest service roads. I was looking for something a bit more than that. I go to Fernbridge tracks with the Rhino and guns. On dirt bikes and quads you can cruise Green Diamond, Barnum and other holdings, it's easy to get around the gates. Do you have a recommendation for a forest service road that would be fun? Anyone on this thread belong to any of the off road clubs?

Try Lost Coast 4x4s. They do a local stuff that would probably be what you're looking for.
