    Pioneer CD, Megaloud/JBL amps, Rockford/Polk speakers.
    I wanna know what that amp is, can you post the model#?

    My current setup is 2 amps but they're not that great (MTX 90x2 and Rockford Fosgate 6x9s on one, Jensen 300x2 on 2 MTX 12's). That and they're about 13 yrs old but I can't justify just replacing them when they still work.

    Thinking when it's time I'll go either JL Audio or Megaloud, since I know a distributor for Megaloud I can get a nice deal.

    Haha. May have to pull one off anyway to wire some lights.

    I've had an upgraded head unit for a while now, mostly because I wanted a USB port. Did that first and then the sub and amp and now these speakers. I can't remember what my old one sounded like but I do know newer head units make a difference. The factory speakers didn't sound too bad (which is why I did that last). Toyota vastly improved them from when we had our 96 tacoma.

    I'll see if I can pull it out from under the seat tomorrow and see what it is for you. The JL stuff I definitely do like.

    JL is pretty much top shelf stuff, like Blaupunkt once was..

    You're right Lauren, aftermarket HU makes a big difference in terms of wattage if you aren't using an amp. Even if so, you just get better quality from them.

    Re the door speakers haha you shoulda seen the ones that came out of my 2010..almost zero magnet to them.

    Installed my LED dome light...I have a new obsession. I want to put LEDs in everything lol. Light bar is up next for installing.

    It's a 12 inch "Truck Star" by Buyers.

    Had to do a bit of modding to get it to fit. Had to cut off part of the BAMF mount, grinded off some of the fins on the back of the light, and grinded off part of the center support thing in front of the radiator. Still need to get it wired up but here are some pics!

    I got it for Christmas, dad got it locally at a truck store. They are like the mecca of LED lighting lol

    Yeah, they're useful, but they don't help me see the trail or set up camp in the dark. I bought (2) 6" light bars that I'm going to mount under the rear bumper for use as auxiliary reverse lights/camping lights. I want to install a 20" or 30” light bar on the front bumper area by next month. We'll see. Really liking your truck!

    That will be cool! Especially the 20" or 30". Those reverse LED I got work well for that stuff too. Would be good thing to have while you waited to get the light bars for underneath.

    Dome light is what I meant. haha. I did the footwell lights which are awesome but some light on the upper part of the interior would be nice. Stock yellow sucks.
