The pure pit is easily distracted with a ball. The boxer/pit would probably be happy rilunning and chasing the ducks all year long until he gets cold and has to come inside and lay next to the fire. The Jack Russell mix would probably have her corgi herding instincts come through and keep all the ducks together without eating them. Once that duck is dead and cooked, I will have 2 dogs begging at my feet and another begging from outside the kitchen.

Black dog in my avatar is Enzo the boxer/pit mix. Gray and white dog is Leia my bitchy Jack Russell mix. She loves the immediate family though. I don't have a pic up here of Dexter, my brindle beef cake pit bull.

BTW Art, you going to make it on the Tahuya run in a couple weeks?

NEW PUPPY :) picked her up last night. 1/2 Purebred Collie & 1/2 Purebred Australian Shepherd, her father was a champion cattle dog from Twin Oaks Ranch. So far, ZERO accidents in house. :woot:

O and her name is RAVEN, unless i decide to change it lol

Great combo! Both breeds are highly intelligent. I had an Aussie growing up and he was the best dog ever. Congrats on your new puppy! Does she have a bobbed tail?

I'm going to try to make it. Depending on what happens at work, I might just drive out there right after & take a nap in the back seat early Sun AM.
