Negatory I spent money on food. Buddy's bday was yesterday and for some reason every time they bought him a shot they bought me one too.

It's possible that it's supposed to be an open line. There's no way the ball bearing could have made it down the line though. We're talking about 1/8" fuel line and at least a 1/4" ball bearing.

    Here's the valve taken apart.

You ever meet Kohler when you lived in MD? it fit his truck well. [IMG]

order a set of 1'' points from ruff stuff or ballistic fab, and i'll come over and weld them on. takes no time at all, and i believe they were only about $30 for a pair when i ordered them to build my rear bumper.

    can't go wrong with either.
superwinch for superior customer service, and smitty for a severly underrated (and nicely priced) winch. regrardless of which one you get, i'd crack them open and repack/reseal.

yeah, those don't use a bearing. when the diff suddenly get's cold, it's supposed to suck the entire silver cab down and create a seal over the rubber hole (in theory). was there a spring in yours?

Nope, no spring. I also tested the breather, it didn't close. The cap fits over the black piece and doesn't have enough room to slide down to seal. I'm still betting on a missing ball bearing.

there are a couple of different designs of this seeminly simple component. i think i still have my old breather in my toolbox. if i can remember, i'll pop it open later.

I'm just biased. I had the second production Shrock bumper with the middle hoop.
