3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
Same here, I got tired of waiting. I had the 255/85 cooper ST's and I liked them. I wanted the ST Maxx's in this same size but since they still haven't come out I went ahead and bought some 33/10.5/15 km2's. Wanted something different so the MT's have held up nicely so far. Great on road and way better than an AT off road.

If the Maxx did happen to come out in the 255/85 sometime soon I would like to buy them and use them as my DD tire while I store the 33/10.5 km2's for trips

Hopefully the recent buzz about them comming out is true. There does seem to be a lot of conversation about these lately. Also quite a few people have been told they will be comming out soon.

With my Tundra brakes I can't run 15's anymore. If I could run 15's I would probably have more choices in tires as well.

I really really don't want to run an MT again. I hardly see mud and I'm tired of the noise. I've found AT's to do well in almost all of the types of off road I typically see. I might, just might consider another MT but I keep going back and forth. For a moment I wanted Toyos.

32.7 according to interco. i have found that my interco tsl radials and interco ssr's were true to the measurements posted so i expect these would be also. i've know plenty of ppl who have run this tire with no issues.

Slackers at Cooper can... well you know...

I am ready to buy. I leaning towards Toyo MT's. Can you convince me otherwise. I have been reading a tons of reviews and it's hard to get a straight answer. The common complaint about the Toyo's is weight, but in the 255/85 the difference is less than 5# with the KM2's. The difference is much larger on other common sizes like the 285's. I posted a separate question and got no love.

I'm not so concerned about the price difference either because it's not that big a deal, like $20 per tire.

    Hello!

I'm new to TW and have had a great time exploring everything on this site. I have a 2010 Tacoma that was recently purchased. A week after I bought it a lady ran a stop sign and crunched her (my Taco) right front fender/bumper...anyway,I've been learning a lot here. So thank you very much.

So besides looking at bumpers and lift kits and whatnots, I've also been reading this thread from the beginning. I am looking for a specific bit of information. At page 25 or 26 I realize it may take me quite a while to find it, if its there.

So here it is. I am really intrigued by the Interco Bird Dog rims and I love the functionality (and looks) of the pizza cutter tires. First off, has anyone had any experience with the Interco rims yet? I did a search and did not find any on here. Second, I'm thinking of moving up to a 17" rim, but Interco only builds 'em 9" wide. Same with the 16" rims. Will a 255/80R17 or 255/85R16 fit okay on a 9" wide rim?

Thanks again for your time. Lovin' this place so far.

when measuring any tire on a truck it is shorter than the specs, the specs are mounted on the perfect width rim for tallest measurement and not under the weight of the truck. the old 33x10.5 talked about in that thread was likely a full 33 spec, so a 1/4 inch taller to start, so theres what, 4 32nds of tread worn off a tire worth of height. go measure your tires under the weight of your truck and see what they measure.

My KM2's measured out to 33" even when they were brand new, but they were also at like 60 psi when Big O Tires put them on... Height is greatly affected by wheel width, pressure in tires and weight of the vehicle.

In my experience, tires usually measure about a 1/2" shorter than what the side wall says they should be.

The Interco thing is a little funny though. I didn't read the thread but did the guy put them on like 10" wide wheels or something?
