Now I know why businessmen up North are always in long coats when you see them on the news walking outside. Wind cuts right through dress slacks. Going out at 6am the last few days felt like stepping into cold pool when the wind hit.

damn dude. i didn't think it was that bad.

I'm trying to figure out the best place to put my cb. my two best thoughts are: 1. in the cubby in front of the cup holders in front of the shifter, or 2. inside the center console storage compartment. spot number 1 is perfect except for when the coax cable is plugged in.... the cb sticks out too far. spot number 2 is good because it will be hidden, but i wont be able to see the display with out have to arm rest open. i know.... i sound like a little whinny baby. i'm just looking for the best, most user friendly, and most practical. any other ideas?

 

What about a 90* coax connector. I have mine in the arm rest area. Think about how often you change settings when your driving though. I also have my external speaker in the dash under the steering wheel.

I am running some 235/85/r16 on some black wheels they are my Goodyear duratracs. Love them less weight load range e for durability can fit on stock height with little rubbing. I am running a 2.5 billies now though. These are my play tires and rims as I use my stock rimes and road tires most of the time.

Yeah it's pretty bad. Haha and Kurt has a good point about it not being used. I haven't used my cb once while not on a trip. That's why I like mine being hidden. If I followed firefighters or cops or worked in a field where I would need one then maybe I would've mounted mine outside somewhere but I never use it. And the only thing you will adjust is your squelch. Very easy and fast to do once though. For your application ....... Center console seems like the way to go.

It's a lil late for that. I don't even know how to attempt to do that now. It would be nice though. Wanna help?
