So I'm on my way home last night on the 60 and the guy next to me didn't see a broom laying on the line between the HOV lane and my lane. Not sure how he didn't see it but nevertheless he hit it changing lanes and I could not swerve to miss it flying through the air. So I now have a giant gash in my fender flare and the snaps are broken :(
I wouldn't be as upset if I had done it this last weekend wheeling but because it was someone else's error its killing me to see my Scarlett wounded because of it.

What is with the 60? Every single time I drive that death trap there's always a broom, a ladder or a box spring laying in traffic.

And they're too poor and working class to figure out a bungee cord or ratchet strap?

Wrap the bungee around the handle once or twice and connect the hooks to tie down points. The same as you'd do with a 2x4 or pipe.

No, I didn't get it cause he crossed the whole freeway to get off of it. I have been talking about removing the flares for some time now, maybe its just time. I know I will have little square holes left, but maybe there is a plug I can install.

Fuck it, they are coming off! I messaged Mark who removed them from his 2012 and I thought it looked good. He said some guys have put bolts in there and they are painted so I don't have to worry about rust if I leave the holes for awhile.

That's a legit way to do it. Think if you went matte or gloss black it would pull that look on your truck with the black hood.
    There is that....
    Yeah fenders are fully painted.
