I heard that they were going to make it in that size. Or maybe it was the 255/75/17???

 

He emailed me back. I'm going to call Conway and see if they are still on the truck, they were tagged with one of those black square scan code sticker things. If not I'll see if he can just send me a new set

 

I saw them in person the other day and they look pretty sweet

CME's have the potential to affect the power grid, not just satellites like the article talks about. So there's a possibility that this could affect more than just your cable.

 

All this talk about coal burners makes me hanker for the alleged impending arrival of the VW Amarok here. I'd love to snag a 4WD version with a diesel and the 8 SPEED auto then mod the piss out of it ( though I'm not sure what kind of aftermarket for off road parts is out there for these)

I agree, and bigger tires. It looks a little disproportionate. Other than that it looks badass.

 

I just looked at the VW website, looks like they only make a double cab and single cab. It shows all the specs on the truck, just over 4' in the bed between the wheel wells, thats pretty awesome for a mid size truck.

 

Cut and inch or two of that one and you'll have one.

 

No Access Cab = Not awesome. The space between the wheel wells would be nice, but the bed's still too small to be useful.

Replacing the 1.5 cardboard with a 3.5" tweeter

 

Thats a huge tweeter. How you ganna make that fit? Haha.

 

It converts to 5'1 1/4" long x 5' 3 3/4". Thats bigger than a short bed taco i believe, and it may be pretty close if not more SF to a long bed tacoma. I dont know why it matters though because we will probably never be able to buy the here
