    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    Nope. I disconnected the radio and swr meter to trouble shoot the ground. I use a multimeter to find the issues. We didn't use a mag mount either. Just a 62" whip I have in the garage.

    Nah, good chance it's the ground... He did say whip, I guess that made me think mag mount.

    I couldn't get a good enough ground to drop much below 2:1 with a Firestik, so I gave up and got a Lil Wil. Hated the idea at first, but fell in love with how clear it transmits.

    MH53 Crashed of Cape Henry in Virginia beach! Rescue in progress.
    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A Navy helicopter went down Wednesday morning off the coast of Cape Henry in the northeast corner of Virginia Beach.
    Petty Officer Brandyn Hill with the Coast Guard told WAVY.com five people were aboard the helicopter when it went down about 18 nautical miles east of Cape Henry. The Coast Guard was notified just after 11 a.m.
    WAVY News Art Kohn spoke with Cmdr. Mike Kafka with U.S. Fleet Forces Command and confirmed two people have been rescued and were en route to a hospital and two others were on a raft. The remaining person on board is still unaccounted for.
    According to Petty Officer David Weydert with the Coast Guard, the four crew members were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
    The Super Doppler 10 weather team said the water is about 40 degrees. Hill said their main concern is getting the crews out of the water because it’s so cold.
    Naval Air Forces Atlantic (AIRLANT) said the helicopter is an MH-53E Sea Dragon. The U.S. Navy tweeted it was a CH-53E, however, Mike Maus with AIRLANT was adamant it was an MH-53E

    Well IMO when it's your GC or whatever you can do whatever you want with it. Personally I would offer it for sale before I gave it away. Under $100 maybe give it away to someone local if I didn't have a use for it, sounds like a fair deal if the card is legit.

    Well, you can clearly see how it pissed some guys off who could've legitimately used the Give-away. He's either taking advantage of the situation = asshole... or he's that naive to not think anyone will be irritated by the action.
