Phil, im assmunig this was what you bought from me, what part was incorrect?

 

Bearings and shims. Neither of them were for a toyota 8.4" rear end. Honestly couldn tell you what rear end those parts were for. Just sucked having to do it twice.

 

If any of you guys are looking into getting a boztec diff skid the FJ guys are doing a group buy until the 15th.

See Jon, that dif skid makes sense. It actually protects the pumpkin.

 

That is a great skid that covers the whole carrier!

 

Jon's skid makes sense as well. It covers and protects the thinnest part of the housing. It is not as elaborate as Jake's skid, but it does serve a purpose. Plus you cannot beat what Jon paid for it.......

 

My Allpro dif skid was free and welded on right where I would expect to drag the pumpkin. Sure it doesn't protect directly under the carrier, but it did just fine last week. My DB took most of the hits on rocks which actually doesn't hang as low as the carrier

 

I highly recommend the boztech

Especially as before I got it, I did damage the pumpkin and dragged on the carrier a bit causing it to leak back then.
