I just sent a PM to the other guy from Lake Stevens to let him know about the adventure. I am probably going to make a stop in Fife to drop off car parts on my way down, and have another person meet at the Safeway to ride shotgun in my truck. I wouldn't be a good option to give you a ride. Maybe Troy will go if he is still alive. He was living in Lynnwood last I heard.

That isn't nice of him. Pay him back by inviting him and getting his truck stuck on a rock and leave him to find his own way off the rock, or be really mean and take all of his lug nuts off and take them home with you.

If that still isn't enough, you can throw handfuls of mud onto his truck too.

 

FLU - Is anyone getting the flu shot?? ive never had the flu shot before...but i have had the flu several times growing up.

 

Flu shots are for the weak.

2 of my co-workers got them on monday, they have been out sick yesterday and today. F the shots, just stay away from sick people lol.

 

Easy for you in the sticks. 85% of my patients are calling because they are sick.

It depends. The military makes us get it every year. I had the flu when I was a kid in Oregon, but haven't had the full blown flu since being in. Maybe its because I have been in a different location and not a mold infested 1910's house and 1930's school.

 

I hear of this more often. Also shot and still get the flu. Although the shot sounds like a good match this year.

I've never had a flu shot yet - I used to get the flu when I was a kid, but not as a adult.

 

I got a flu shot last year before starting my new job, got the flu a week later. Sucks that it takes 2 weeks to becone effective.

 

Flu shot is basically vaccine against the top 3 strains of the flu for this year. You can still catch another strain of it. I personally think the flu shot is a waste of time and money.

 

I would highly recommend people get the H1N1 vaccine. I've delt with 2 people this week with confirmed cases.

There was the Avain flu a few years ago. The swine flu was a couple years ago. The H1N1 came around last year as the new "mega thread".
