    Ahh... sorry I like my computer to keep running and last longer than 5 years... :p

    I bought this imac in 2007 and it runs better than my Samsung laptop that I bought 2 years ago...

    so bite me :D I like my iMac, my iPhone and my iPad... if I could fly on a mac I would, but most of our systems are Linux and rarely Windows.

    I'm the same way. My Mac is 7 years old, and it had 2gb Ram. Just upgraded it to 4gb and it still runs twice as fast as my wife 8gb windows based laptop. Haters will be haters.

    i truely would love my computers to last as long as macs. i do respect them for that. pretty impressive. but like you said, mike, they just can't run half of the programs that i've been using since i started college. trend continues at work too now. that's why i'm not enjoying this work Iphone they just gave me.

    well that's the limitation really... I can do all of my office work on the mac no problem because I don't need to CAD or any other specialty program work...

    For flying, I have dedicated laptops that don't do anything else (so as to avoid the standard PC problems)
