What days are the band going to be there?

They are coming out Friday afternoon early evening and camping out til Sunday. It a buddy of mine from work who is the drummer and a guitarist and singer.

 

Just something think about , a bands gonna attract a lot of unwanted attention from the LEO, and they've been really cracking down this season

 

Glad you said it, & yeah they're looking for the most bullshit reasons to check everyone out , this year is worse yet from what my friends are telling me & obviously they're not young hell raisers, just old ones haha.. seriously tho' they be krakin' down dawg on everyone 'fo everything.. Probably tell you you need a permit which isn't a bad idea to check on I'd think..

 

I'm on the fence as of right now. It's just a loooong way's from home to go and beat on the truck. I trust my own prep abilities, but shit happens.

I'm just seeing what goes on at work, I'll be able to know for sure by the end of this week.

I know it will be awesome to see everyone out there that I haven't seen in sooooo long.

RJ you're in Vegas right? If shit happens to your truck (which I highly doubt...becausebadassLTdriver) I don't mind helping you get back there just an excuse to go haha!

 

It's a congo style drum not a full drum set and acoustic guitars. Can be No louder than a loud stereo or quiet stereo for that matter. For sure a group call.

 

If you read the permit regs every desert trip I've ever been on requires a permit. I'm gonna call today tell them about my camping trip I'm planning for presidents weekend that I posted on Naxja and ask at what point a permit is needed if at all.

 

Called blm and told them me and some friends from work were going to super on presidents with our jeeps. We cruise all day and play music instruments all night. I posted it on my jeep forum and have gotten a large response and I'm curious of a permit requirements because there might be 50-100 people show up I don't have any idea. He said if no money changes hands, Everyone is just coming and going as they please and no one is required to do anything such as show up by 9am for the organized club run you don't need a permit. It looks like the raffle is the only thing illegal.

That being said I understand that doesn't stop the poepoe from cruising over and asking. 50 tacomas might be enough for them to ask if we are an event. 50 tacomas and 3 guys jamming out might be more of a reason for them to ask. Let me know if you guys don't want them to play.

But on a side note if asked this isn't a SoCal tacoma meet or event. Is was a trip posted on the forum and I showed up

 

We all just happen to be in the desert for the weekend at the same time, the fact we all drive toyotas is just the worlds biggest coincidence....
