    break something coming into camp, have said part be bent and not replace while we had the chance, i was drunk and told someone who hates second gens down into the play area hahaha led to broken truck 2.0 that night......

    its an inner tie rod thats bent and the outer tie rod end broke into two

    you wont have that issue and if you do, that was a 65$ fix

    oh and 50 bucks for the boot kit for the cv i had the boot come out of....

    i guess the full story would help, the LCA nut backed off, causing my wheel and spindle to fuck off into my fender, at said point the tie rod and axle got broketh

    lesson learned even though you paid someone to torque check and go through your whole suspension dont trust ANYONE with your truck...

    I do all my work on my truck. That way when it breaks I can blame EVERYONE except me.:D

    Also that's a really shitty way to have a tie rod bend in half. Lol

    I bought one inner and one outer before Moab last year, pretty cheap. A CV axle is a good idea too. Maybe $200-250 all together. I got some fluids too. Cheap insurance.

    honestly it was hey can you back everything off and torque EVERYTHING down to spec, i gave him a huge list, I said my whole front end has been apart, back it off, and torque it....

    well he did back it off...

    for some reason, no one else in camp had a 60...... so we had one 60 and one 48..... I bassically said no one else under the truck other than me....

    I agree, but if it gets my ass back to town, I can replace it later and avoid the cost of a tow or whatever other BS that comes along with having a broken truck out on a trail.

    that was my thought.... until I broke the jobber I put in on the same trail.... since than no more jobbers period, I had brough three full toyota CV's to moab with me...
