They said they did...but first hand witness to a 2013 raptor failing through whoops I went through says otherwise. Ford openly admitted to the flaw and said they think their design is fine and that it's a street truck basically, the interview was a joke and it's designer is obviously not interested in what true pre runners are. It's just a market to guys that don't want a quality truck to build off of, it's for old guys and young rich kids that drop their truck off at a shop to do all their work, luckily those kids exist because it will make me a lot of money in the near future

No disrespect in previous comments, if it works then that's awesome, I'm just going off my opinion in what a marketed pre runner should be, but it's just that, an opinion

Aftermarket pulls at least 14" for our small trucks, and 3" rear block? Axle wrap and wasted suspension, it should come with sua and 20" easily, that's so easy to obtain, giant does it again with our small trucks in factory mounting points. There are so many race teams that have made raptors what they should be from factory, it's just insulting at a 60k price point to offer a truck with gas 2.0 shocks....

Yes I am, I'm going with engage front despite most opinions, from my research they are solid and I trust it, I may add in some of my own strengthening things but otherwise I'm good with it, I like the width and stance. I'm getting ready to break down my rear and box the frame while making my shackles and mounts for a 50t pack, Christmas killed me so I'm rebuilding funds haha. But I'm planning to make it beast and awesome after some electric sunburns

Not at all most people don't need two spares. Only notch the bed if you need the bed space

It's really not all that bad, if you make your own rack extensions you can fix it with millimeters and it only starts to get weird at extremes where bumps and straps come into play. I really like and respect the engage guys, they make a good product, I've seen it first hand in action too, I feel they get a bad rap despite what they make, and I've decided against trusted companies like TC and camburg for them after research.

Thanks! And supermoto is right, 2 is more for looks but 1 spare is fine unless your hitting the 1000 lol upright spares are kinda dying out tho, a lot of guys are laying them flat now

Have you considered looking at LSK. They are still a small sized company. They are also now doing billet mounts for the horizontal uniball a on their ucas. They also have countersunk washers. Kind of a nice feature.

if im gunna spend 3500+ on a lt kit i would hope theres no bumpsteer. what other kits on the market have noticeable bumpsteer? Camburg, TC, DTF, Built Right, Dirt Designs? none of them do, so why would i spend the same cash on a kit that needs the geometry fixed before it even works right. doesn't make sense the me that they even let the kits out of the shop with bumpsteer like that. put your money into a company that spends the time on their kits to get everything working properly.

    just my opinion.

This is so true! My truck is bumped and strapped at 19" with dirt designs race kit and I have next to none bump steer.

Price point engage beats all... With minor cost to me to adjust it makes more sense, dirt designs, Lsk and all others charge a shit ton of money for no reason, any other brand for heims is an additional 600 bucks..heims are cheap, I don't get it, it's standard on engage and it's still not spindle specific, the others are and the ones that aren't are 3k for just the kit. IMO all kits are a rip off especially Lsk, 4k+ I like their kit but fuck 3/16 steel is just that, I can buy 2 sheets and .030 for 1% the cost I'll put my money in a kit that's race proven that costs less and is adjustable if need be

    ...too much shit to list.
    For no reason?
How about R&D? How about lack of bump steer? How about no reputation for LCA pivots ripping out? How about including bushing sleeves and not having the LCA bolts rip the bushings to pieces?
In the end it's your money and I could care less about where you invest your money into parts. But there certainly IS a reason why the Engage kit is less than the competition.

It's ridiculous how much money will be stolen from this market by dropping prices, dtf makes awesome stuff but he would benefit drastically by dropping his price and selling more kits, steel is cheap, welding is fast and once a design is made for cad it's no longer any work...
