i've never had much bad to say about verizon, but today they have been rather irritating. my company moved my phone under their account and by doing so, now i can't login to my family account to manage my wife's phone and my son's phone. I have to kill the entire website profile and start all over. What a bunch of crap.

    No ulterior motives?

I think I'm going to move away from Verizon once my contract is up this coming May. They've gone down hill in reliability and customer service around here. Plus its expensive. My parents signed up for the Free Talk or whatever it is through wal mart and they like it so I might go to that. Plus my bill would be half what it is now.

I take it your number was the billing number on the account. If that was the case then yes you needed to create another account. The plus side is your phone is now being paid for by your company.

Be careful to retain your old discount level or you might be able to set the new account up with a new discount level if your company offers that small perk. I say small perk because it really does not amount to too much dollar wise. Any savings is good in the long run when dealing with a carrier company.

Best of luck Adam. Just stay on top of the problems and you should end up fine.

In the business world it usually takes 2 months to totally resolve an issue and have credits applied to the account. That is if everything goes with no problems. If your account rep does not do their job the problem can take over a year to be fully resolved.

I like you hate to deal with the carrier companies. At one point in my carrier I managed over 1700 different communications accounts for the company I worked for.

    Funny story about "prison food."

Erica was at the store the other morning getting some groceries. Black lady walks up to her all serious like and asks her "wheres coffee aisle be?" Erica, not drinking coffee herself says she doesn't know. Other lady says to Erica "Well, I need my damn coffee. Ive been all over this town looking for this coffee named *insertoffbrandhere* and I can't find it."
Erica asks why she is looking for one special brand and the lady answers with...
"It's prison coffee. It was the best coffee I ever had. I need my fix, and I aint planning goin back to no prison to taste it again." Erica walked away very quick at that point...

maybe the lady had worked at a prison at one point? :notsure:

I call tater tot casserole prison food because the local newspaper ran an article in the food section all about the kitchen at the state prison and how they planned/cooked for a large population. Well one of the recipes they shared was for tater tot casserole...it was also a long time favorite recipe that my mom made. my family and I had a good laugh about it and we started calling it prison food.

This new place (where i started working in Nov.) has automated blinds that go up and down depending on how bright it is outside. Today must be right in the middle because they've gone up and down 3 or 4 times already today.
