So guys and squirrels, me and Greg has been kickin around the idea of a Sac area mod day for a few weeks. Most of the TW Norcal stuff has been happening down in the south Bay Area as of late so I thought it would be cool to get together and hang out with the central valley guys :)

We picked the 22nd of Feb. because of the playoffs, the Super Bowl and Greg's going on vaca meant that we couldn't really get a good mod day together any sooner.

Greg doesn't have a shop set up like Jerry so we are going to be bringing tools and pretty much everything we need. I would say unless you guys are hell bent for leather we probably won't be doing any lifts. I will bring all my tools and my electrical kit as I will be installing Ozium bolt LEDs somewhere on my truck and maybe doing the rear door LEDs as well. If you guys want to do electrical bring the wire/relays/parts and whatever else and I'll help you do it.

Parking at his shop will be sweet and we can set up BBQ's and do some food as well.

When: Feb 22nd, 9 AM till dark.

Where: 5451 warehouse way suite 102 Sacramento CA 95826

So let's get a mod list and a food list going, see you there!

Count me in for now. I'll bring some floor jacks, jack stands and tools. I'll do electrical stuff. As for food, I'll figure something out later, but MJ better follow through on some King Egg Roll!

Well sheeyut, that's right around the corner from Blue Collar Supply, and they often have Satoshi-style mesh if anyone want to pick some up. Awesome place from fasteners to raw materials for fab, plus tons of other random stuff and tools and great prices.

I need to replace my headlights and install my Satoshi, maybe this would be a good excuse to do it especially since I have zero room to work in my new garage so far.

Hell, I am just overdue for some diff oil changes.

I'm a maybe until my schedule for the next two months clarifies. If I can make it I can bring a jack and two pairs of jackstands (3T and 6T) if needed, plus other stuff.

If it isnt too late when I get there you think you can help me out with this Brian? Blinker Mod. I think all it takes is switching the wires so that my blinkers are up top, rather than the bottom..if that makes any sense?? Im not too good with electrical stuff

Ill bring some Carne Asada! and Beer!

Where is the shop at again? EDIT: Nevermind...didnt see the address posted...my bad..lol

This is the perfect time to do that stuff, probably want to bring a tarp so we don't get diff oil on Greg's parking lot. :) You keep saying you're gonna make one of these, hope you can dude.

I really think you need to catch that 24 hour flu *hint* *Hint*, that stuff would probably need more time than what daylight we would have left at 430 in the afternoon.

I can help you. I did mine last year. Pretty easy. If any first gens want to do it, I have an extra set of OEM corners that can be back ups.

Yea, no big deal. It will be getting dark when i roll up. Next time. But Im still down to grill

And I wish I could call in. My coworker will be on paternity leave so that would not be good if i called in.

    Its hard to explain

Heres part of a write up.....Actually, I think I could do this on a sunday on my own. Doesnt seem to difficult at all..lol

Okay, you remove the corner light and there is a harness going to the corner light and another going straight down to the front turn signal, you strip away what loom you need and cut the green wire that goes to each light, then swap so the green that went to the front signal now goes to the corner light and vice versa. You will need to get a LED resistor to make your signals blink normally or let them be and they will blink fast. What you get is your front turn signals are now fog lights and your corner lights are now turn signals, you should also switch bulbs so they are white like the headlights and in some states you may be required to change the bulb in the corner light to orange. Here is what it looks like
