    Both of you guys have the OEM intake and/or no ABS pump in that space. I have an AFE stage 2 and ABS so that spot wont work for me. I am looking at going behind the battery.

    I ordered my Amsteel-Blue 2 days ago. I am definitely looking forward to getting it all installed. I would suggest looking into the Samson Blue Line Thimble (if that is what your refering to). If your talking about a safety thimble, I am considering the ProLink but its pretty pricey.

    What size line did you get???

    I Bought the Warn Syprdua 3/8 100ft line.


    Yea i am talking about the safety thimble. I am thinking about prolink just because i know someone that can give me a deal.

    I got the Amsteel Blue 3/8" grey 100ft line w/ 10' black chafe guard.

    Since I just ordered my winch, I was compairing the M-8000 vs M-8000s. The M-8000s was $200+ more which wasn't bad but for the price I really wanted to get the Amsteel vs Spydura. The Amsteel cost me $245 shipped with the upgraded thimble. The only issue I am facing now is that Warn doesn't sell just the Synthetic anchor for the drum.

    I will probably just use the Warn hook for now, stop spending so much money, THEN buy a safety thimble.

    They are located in my state so I had to pay $19.45 in tax but you shouldn't have to pay that tax since your in Cali.

    Edit:
    I called them because I realized I ordered Blue color and wanted Grey. They said they don't stock the Grey but they can get it for me, it will just take a bit longer.

    And for anyone that is doing a synthetic conversion I just found that Warn DOES sell the synthetic rope anchor for the drum. It is Warn Part # 76226. I had my local 4wheelparts do in-store pickup for $6.50 after tax.

    Well if you got the Spydura kit it should come with the part that I just mentioned. The steel line has a bolt hole at the end of it that bolts directly to the drum. The synthetic rope has a loop at the end that needs an anchor. It's basically just a black disc that the rope will loop around.
