Actually dude. I am legit worried about yours. Less BS and 1-1.5" wider tires...you'll be screwed.. I kinda think you should pass on those tires..

yea we made it back all good, only one close call right where you guys said all the muleys would be haha. Slick roads a bit south of Cody too but all good.

Yea after seeing what Monte has cut Mark I honestly dont think you can really fit the tires you've got ur eye on without way more work than you would want feasibly on ur DD... Not knocking you for wanting to try just lookn out.

i honestly dont get what the huge deal is. it will be half an inch wider on the inside. i dont think the offset is that much less than montes, and honestly out of all of the tub jobs for 35s nobody has cut inward as for as monte has. dont know why, but that seems to be what i noticed.

Sorry..your has more BS right? Like 3" vs my 2.25. So the tire is gonna be tucked in more plus it's wider n both sides. You'll end up having to cut probably the lower door hung off..I almost had too practically.

I just don't think doing 13.5s is a good idea man

Mounting em using gonna tel you jack. Every time we would cut and check..something else would rub just in one spot. S we cut that. Then the further the tire got in. The more we had to cut. And the more..and more..

It's not gonna end well I think for you..

When I was a sawyer fighting fire I had a Stihl 066 and an 088 saw, both tuned up. They cut almost that fast but are portable lol. I dropped the 7th largest sugar pine in the world (while it was on fire) with a DBH of over six feet. The Forest Circus botanist cried when it hit the ground. :D

I'm just giving you shit man!
What is the BS on your wheels and you have 1" or 1.5" spacers?

Mark you need to figure out what you BS is on those wheels.

The more BS you have the more your wheels will be tucked in so that means you won't have to tub as much, but you are more likely to rub on the frame. The less BS you have (the farther out the wheel sticks) the more tubbing you will have to do, but it will get you off the frame.

Silas managed to tub for his 37's, I can't imagine it will be that big of a deal for Mark unless those wheels very little BS.

My wheels have a 3.5" BS with half inch spacers for an effective BS of 3". I can fully stuff 37's lock to lock with just hammering over the pinch weld. I could fit 37's on an x-runner with these wheels.

After seeing all the work Monte's been doing to fit 35's it makes second gens seem like a piece of cake to fit big tires... now I feel like a limp wrist if I dont go 35's haha

also Mark, you made the TW banner without 35's... haha :D

Build it at full stuff and go from there. I could fit 40's if I got out the sawzall... Here is a really good article on the subject, it's for the early tacos but it holds true with any pickup. The only thing they left out is alignment...the more caster the better to get the tire away from the firewall. It will also handle better at high speed at the cost of steering effort, but even maxed out I can steer with one finger-

You have a +3.5" kit that pushes your tires out away from the frame and cab, but without making your turning sweep worse like adding spacers or a wheel with less BS will do. haha You're kit probably pushes your axle forward an inch as well, plus your caster is maxed out to push it forward even more.

True enough, but the concept is the same. The biggest tire is the one you can fit at full stuff, with the wheel turned all the way. If that ends up being 33's for your setup, then that's what you should run.

Or you do like JW (n0rth) did and just run a taller bump stop once you don't dare cut anymore. haha He's running 36's on the same setup I am running 33's on. haha

honestly, they are .5" wider on the inside, outside doesent matter, because montes tires stick out wider than the door/fender anyway. so i have to make room for an extra half inch to .75" of tire. not TOO concerned.

Unless the weather is bad I am going to take what is left of my fender flares off and see if I will have to trim any fender and what it will take to reattach my flares. haha Hopefully I can put them back on... I have the flareless look... and I don't need to cut 2" out of my fenders for my 33's...
