Ouch. ECM stuff can get pricey. Did it get dunked when you went ponding, you think?

Zip Ties = Classy duct tape.
Do the LED's have the built in resistors so you don't get that annoying fast blink? I had a tube bumper w/LED's on a Nissan Hardbody some years back and it took a lot of experimenting to fix the stupid 'blinketyblinketyblinketyblinkety' back to just a standard 'blink-blink-blink-blink'
I think I spent more $$ on different blinker modules and resistors than I did on the damn blinkers.

Yeah I don't think it got dunked. It looked fine and dry and clean when I pulled out my truck's carpet. :notsure:

My license plate is currently zip tied to the front grill. Stupid inspection.....

And I bought "the correct" resistors for my LED turn signals.... Didn't do shit. Still get the fast blink! I'm waiting for the rear signals to burn out... Too much blinking for them.

I know a guy who actually wired a regular bulb inline with the wiring to his LED turn signals. He didn't want to screw around with resistors, so he spray painted the bulbs black and tucked them up into the fender wells. Normal speed blinkers, and it looks normal at a glance. Pretty ghetto fix, though. Brilliant, but ghetto.

    Maybe it's full of water?

Saw that here too. It got warm enough yesterday for stuff to melt, and then it all froze up again overnight. Plus, all the sand that was on top of the ice when it melted fell to the bottoms of the puddles, and then the puddles froze again.

Not if you don't have the strength to swing it properly...

I've said it before and I'll said it again, if you can't fix it with a hammer, clearly it's an electrical problem. Seems to be holding true with the wagon, hammer didn't fix it so it must be the ECM

My 'new' transmission has 150k+ on it. When they installed it they said it would need a flush pretty soon, but I've waited a year lol. I'm sure the fluid is gross! It was dark already when they installed it.

That's a good idea... Or we can just pester mike to find the correct inline resistors.

    And no, no water.

Shut it before I show you how hard I can swing a hammer and exacerbate your osteoporosis, old man.

There doesn't need to be an exact science to it, varying the resistor will just increase or decrease the blinker timing (more resistance = slower blink).

Marker bulbs are 3 or 5 watts each.
    5 watts/12 volts = 0.42 amps
Volts / Current (amps) = Resistance (ohms)
    12 volts / 0.42 amps = 28 ohms

Do the same calculation with the draw of your LED's. For example, say the LED's provide 10 ohms of resistance.

28 Ohms (factory) - 10 ohms (LED's) = 18 ohms. This means wire in an 18 ohm resistor for each LED so the blink is back to normal.

Testy testy...I was merely stating that a hammer can't fix the problem if it isn't used with the right force.

I already took a hard shot last night being told my Maine coon has an inoperable tumor and plan for having to let him go in about 2 weeks, don't need another one today..

Sorry to hear, Chris! My parents just had to put their cat down a couple weeks ago also. He had an absess that formed around what turned out to be a pellet. He was too old to fight it off so they had to let him go. Makes me wish there was a way to find the piss-ant who shot him with a pellet gun so I learn him a thing or two
