This is my thought. Monte's tires stick way the fuck out there. That is why he has had to cut so much off his firewall and into his A-pillar. If you tires don't stick out that far it won't be as big of an issue.

I haven't seen Montes pics since he finished cutting but from the pics I have seen I think Silas took out more than Monte did.

On the brightside I got a new gas cap today. haha I might wait until I get everything all clearanced and good before I put it on though so I don't blow another one up...

Trust me. Putting on ain't gonna show you crap haha it's very deceiving.

I am worried more about you because your tires while only .5" per side..that is a lot. We are talking cutting stuff with in 1/8th or less to clear.

If your wheels sit more tucked in and are wider. Your gonna hit the body mount bad and the frame and have to take a SHIT load out of the inside of the fire wall. And just as much as me probably in the apillar if not more. I wish you could come and see it in person cause..it's a lot.

False. The more tucked in the more of the fire wall you have to take out just further in. And a bit less in the a pillar. Remember it's in an arc and this is at full stuff.

Rims for me is 3.75" +1.5" spacers. So 2.25" BS for me.

Fucking wide now. Wider then my sliders. Wasn't before.

    2nd gen.

    Totally different.

    Yes it does. That's a lot dude..haha a lot.

I already have like..no room to spare at all.

    Wrong again.

    Sorta.

Yes I have to take more out of the a pillar. But actually less of the firewall..in theory. But it's a huge ass hole still. Freaking wide.

Didn't bring my camera home so no pics :(

monte i understand there is a lot to cut.

instead of just saying you shouldnt buy them do you have any suggestions as to how I can check this? if i just found out the BS of the wheel would that help the most?

if i can call the guy to have him go look around the wheel and what not, where would he look to find such information do you think?

he also took out a good chunk

so what im getting at here...is it looks like about half the people here cut a shit ton, and half really didnt.

so even if im one of those people who cuts a shit ton, clearly its still doable

It's not just the BS I'm worried about. It's the 13.5" tire on a 10" rim that worries me. No amount of BS is gonna help that really. The tire will be close to 14" wide

Jon cut the same as me as they are the same tires. He had 1" spacers vs my 1.5" ones.

But all the trucks with just a bit cut..they are all 315/75r16s I'd bet. Not the same as a 35x12.5r15. They are smaller.

And sure as shit not as wide as a 35x12.5r15 on a 10" rim

I'm not say don't do it..I want nothing more then to take your money :p but...I'm still worried your gonna cut a huge ass hole and it still won't fit..

so even if i threw them on your wheels, and got a spacer its still a 13.5" wide patch and i bet it comes out to being 13.5" wide either way.

An 8" wheel would make it closer to 13.5 or a touch less yea.

    But still wide..

I mean if your up for it..go for it man..ill be biting my nails while you cut tho and hope for the best

Hey Mark are those Toyo's an older MT or are they the same as the current one? I just checked the specs and it says they measure 14.4" wide. Doesn't say what width wheel that is on though. If worse comes to worse throw those tires on your current wheels (or are your current wheels 16's?). That will skinny them up a bit from a 10" wheel.

JW's 12.50's are supposed to measure 12.50 on a 10" wide wheel and he put them on a 7.5" wide wheel and they measure 10" wide now.

Oh fuck me Brady! What the fuck you gotta come up here with this bull shit

Where did you check these specs on the wheels

If worse comes to worse I can keep montes wheels, but dam I like the ones on the truck because they do have such a low off set and stick the tire out enough that I shouldn't require spacers

so if you just read through 3 pages what are your thoughts on this nonsense? im compressing to factory bumps, you are not. so how worried should i be about the width of the tire?

and brady. which one was 14.5 lol!!!!!!! the new one or the old one. if the thing says 13.5 i hope to god dam its not any wider. i look online and at least the new ones it appears that the 37s are 14.5, but the 35s are 13.5
