Well that's insightful. Usually an argument is presented. Thanks for proving me wrong?

    I'm sure it is.

For real though, argue your point, like a constructive human being. It should be ever so easy since I'm such a fucking moron and I made such a false statement.

    Or keep proving nothing.

    Lol, constructive human being.

Simply adding weight to the rear is not going to negate the fact that once planted to the ground below the snow pack that traction will be applied effectively to move the vehicle. It's simple fucking physics.

Driving skills aren't going to save you if your vehicle ain't moving.

There ya' go. I knew you had some kind of stupid point to try and make. However....

    Lol.

What? None of that makes any sense.

Who said anything about not moving? It's simply getting around in the snow with an open diff, is it not?

Fella'...there are thousands and thousands RWD/2WD trucks that scuttle along just fine in the snow....if not BETTER...than idiots in cars. (and now that I think about it, I see 100% more cars spun out in ditches than I ever have RWD trucks.)

So adding weight to the back of a RWD truck DOES NOT help with traction in the snow?

So knowing how to properly drive a RWD truck DOES NOT help in snowy conditions?

A simple google of "driving a RWD truck in snow"...here is a neat link.

    http://www.thecarconnection.com/news/1035862_controlling-a-rear-wheel-drive-in-the-winter

If you drive a truck (which has very little weight over the rear wheels), it may be a good idea to fill your bed with a few hundred pounds of weight. Most people use sandbags or concrete to do this. It is cheap, effective, and will aid traction and handling in slippery conditions.

Next, please understand that you will need to change your driving habits when the snow begins to fall. Slow down and do not be afraid to drive under the speed limit. When it is time to slow down, brake early and softly so there is no danger of sliding. Because rear-wheel drive automobiles are oversteer-biased, it can make for a more difficult situation when you enter a turn in the snow. Try approaching turns much slower than usual and stay closer to the center lane. This will make for a more controlled transition.

So, shut the fuck up. Punk. Yup, a punk. You've been once ever since you started to grace TW with your pitifully pathetic backyard/shade-tree, bullshit presence.

Lol, that's a beautiful little diatribe you wrote there. Are your feels still butthurts because I won't agree with you on the negatives of Toyota dropping a diesel platform in America? If that's the case get the fuck over, daddy could give two fucks on anything you are able to Google.

Lets just clarify that I am talking on unpaved dirt roads covered in at least a foot of snow as the picture I replied to indicated. Not driving down the I-40 in feburary.
