that's the only thing that worries me about getting the icons...really wish they'd figure out how to make those top plates stronger.

Same shit happened to my Icons...Easy swap, and they got the plates to me next day.

 

How old were those top hats tom ? When I cracked mine they said it was cause I have the older style icons not the new vs series and they have sence corrected the problem. That was about a year ago and I havent had a problem sence with the new top hats

That is why I told him I wouldn't support his group buy. He's a friend of a friend who doesn't know much and believes anything anyone says. He wanted me to make a good review about him and the group buy but having seen the shit storm in the past I told him to cover it himself.

 

My gf's light bar is a China bar and we held it up to her brothers rigid and it was exactly the same light obviously it won't have the customer service and warranty of rigid but is still awesome fore the price

 

Issue is OP is handling it completely the wrong way.

my bar i have (the 32 in. up front) is almost as bright as a 30 in. rigid someone once showed me a couple months back and im happy with that...
china brand doesnt mean crap...just means cheaper imo on certain things lol

FYI, I have 50" mounts here in the shop. I already sold 3 sets, and I'm putting them on my own truck.

 

its china made. OP sounds like a tool. i didnt want to add my opinion to the thread so it wouldnt get locked when he snaps. ridgid buys their shit from china and assembles it here.

like i said, if i get that bar and its super bright ill have a but i just want my light bar hopefully ill get it by next week, take it to nick so he can make me some mounts and 4 rigid pods mounted to my front bumper as well
