Still having problems with my fan motor harness, it only works on high, but if I pull on the wires all speeds work. So I've been told it's the wiring harness, how hard is that to replace, and where can I buy a new one

I am having a similar problem.

2008 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner double cab. My cabin blower fan only works on high now. A few weeks ago it worked on low or high but not on the middle two speeds.

If I leave it in one of the low or medium speed sometimes it cuts in and out. I started having problems with it around 170,000 miles. Anyone that can lend their expertise I would appreciate it.

Update: I had the problem repaired at my dealer. It was a faulty blower motor resistor and fan motor harness.

    Part # 87138-04052 ($33.44) and P0182756 ($53.00)

    Labor charge was 149.95

Hey bros, I stumbled upon this thread looking to welcome our new members. I think that you would have a lot more views/help if you post your issues under technical chat in the Tacoma garage tab. Just go to Topics tab/Tacoma garage/Technical chat. Good luck and Aloha!:)

Thanks Pete! I just saw the pic of your truck, which is sweet BTW. Where did you get your side steps from? I would love to get those when I am done with my lift. It will help my wife and kids get into the truck a lot better. Thanks in advance, later!:)

Got them on eBay like 5 years ago...wife was pregnant so that was my excuse for the upgrade. "Darling I'm doing this for you". She still tells her friends how sweet that was of me. They came in a plain white box with crappy instructions. A bunch of them come up if your search eBay for Toyota Tacoma oval nerf bars or step bars
