You might be internally placing accents where accents are warrented;)

^^^ Yup. Could also be due to the localized societal influences. Making "them" there words so profoundly country. We Texans just pick up on the country lingo. ;)

I am using a Vipec, it can control fly by wire, vvti etc. Its a great computer I installed it myself. I think they are made in New Zealand.

Here is the graph. Don't pay attention to the RPM the dyno operator must not have scaled the print out correctly.

I would still be interested in seeing your timing table if you could do a screen shot of it off your computer.

Unfortunately, I can no longer plug into my ProEFI, as I don't have the cord anymore. So since that is the case, I can't look at the tables anymore. When the time come to get tuned again, I will snag some pictures.

When I started the look for an EMS that could control TBW, I came across the Vipec as well. It was just that they weren't as local, nor had enough tuners to make me feel comfortable buying it. Incase I couldn't do something myself.

Then there was also Motec. But those were just to much out of my price range.

Help me understand your graph, if you don't mind. I see the words "Max Torque = 501 N.M." and "Max Power = 253KW" But the tq curve doesn't match a those #'s. Then there is also another word "Motive Force" how does that apply?

Sorry Tor its a shit scan of the original. That max torque figure is 901N.m its a lot clearer on the original. He had really good detailed graphs on his dyno computer then they give you a shitty one page print out when you leave.

As for Motive Force I wouldn't have a clue I'll do some research.

    hey Tor..

what size exhaust piping would you recommend?

Thinking of having something custom made from the Y back.. mines pinched and beat up right now.. lookin to gain some clearance with a new Y, and then just dump it over the axle.

If I were to have a custom setup made... V bands are the way to go yes?

yes v bands are the way to go as it allows you to be able to quickly drop the exhaust if you need (1 bolt per flange) and they are leak free (when quality v bands are used)

    2.25" tubing for the Y-pipe.

It will provide you with the best flow velocity. All mandrel bent tubing. None of the kink bend junk. It won't be cheap, but it will be worth it. I hope you get 304ss as well, because you will never have to worry about it rusting. So it will last the lifetime of the vehicle. Unless of course there happens to be a gnarly random rock. ;)

Being that you aren't going for the highest HP you can, you can still get by just fine with a 2.5" catback. However, the area of 2.25" Y-pipe tubing, X2 ( both banks) is practically the same diameter as one 3" tubing. So the combined exhaust from both banks won't be choked up going into the catback.

So then it just becomes a matter of clearances between the 2.5" or 3" catback.

Also!!!!!! If you plan on doing all V-bands, then make sure to also get a stainless steel flex coupling. That way the catback can flex independent of the Y-pipe, and will prevent damage. That is how the OEM catback is, with the spring bolts and donut gasket, at the back of the Y-pipe.

If that can't mandrel bend and/or do stainless let daddy know

O yeah, best connection for a boosted setup. However they are pricey for the none chinese crap.

Sweet! Thanks man. Ill run by the shop and see what they can do and what type of piping and flanges they can do for me.

Thinking I may do the URD equal length headers as well. Would those change anything when doing the exhaust?

they should be able to. Its a full Fab/speed shop.

Ron Davis radiator nears completion of install. My friends at www.KozmicMotorsports.com are doing the fab work/ installation and wiring. They were highly impressed with the quality of the radiator.

That is a HUGE torque number! Which turbo and specs are you running? How does it feel to drive now, with all of the power and tuned?
