Getting close... Might could shave the inboard of the outside leg down, to drop the inside a bit (angrier eyes) and it'll be real close.

    Looking good! Keep it up!

Looking nice... Do the boost slide mod on the outer boots (wheel side) before installing. Let me know when you want to install and I can give you a hand.

I have some gaps and not sure on welding big holes by making a wall. I did passenger side and it looked rough. I used a flap disc to make it look somewhat cleaner. Going to chop the welds on driver to try and get it closer.

Nice. Good job Paul! Just stack your welds starting on opposing sides and it'll come out nice. I had to use my flap disk quiet a bit on the inside near the front fender in order to close the weld and re weld it. Took quiet a while. Looking forward to seeing some outside shots of it done!

    O yea. Happy new year!!

Happy new year to you too Tanner!

So I chopped off the weld on the driver side and notched the tube more. I know it's still off a bit but also my bumper sticks out more on the passenger side, it's not aligned perfectly. Must be from winching a few times. I need to straighten it out. I finished welding everything and just need to clean up all my boogers with the flap disc.

With that being said I am very pleased with the way it came out. For someone that's never really tried to weld I'm pretty happy with the end result. I know it's not perfect by far but you get some satisfaction knowing you did it yourself. Much respect for all of you welders! I'll get it painted up and try to snap some good shots next week when I go wheeling/camping

Good suggestion on driver side hoop. I cut the welds and made that shit closer. No big ass gap!

How much were those cv's and the core charge if ya don't mind me asking? I know sooner or later I'm gonna have to swap mine out or at least reboot them.
