    But why. I mean, it rains out here and I've never known of anyone having a flooded basement unless they live right next to a river or something and the river floods their land

    same reason for the reason I needed a sump... house was built in 2005 though (the maryland house) and had poor drainage... plus the water table wasn't too low since I lived on the shore.

    I think it is because we can drive across the border without a passport. My sister and her fiancé are heading to Florida in February. They wanted to save money so they decided to drive to buffalo and jump on a flight there since flying out of Canada would be a lot more expensive for them (I think it's mostly taxes that drive up the prices and how our country likes to bend us over and rape us without lube, plus Canadian inflation, oh and did I mention taxes??)

    Yup. I want to drive the zamboni, it's like the Canadian kid dream! If you can't make it in the nhl, you become bestest zamboni driver ever!
    Apparently they just used 7000gallons of water Thursday night prepping the trail :eek:

    Who wouldn't want to drive the Zamboni?!?! The trail must be pretty flat right? Zamboni's aren't exactly equipped to take on any inclines and putting studded tires or chains on it would sort of defeat the purpose of the Zamboni...
