Florida is definitely the easiest game on that schedule.

Yea...I think Saban might be getting senile. Maybe Kiffin will be OK as the OC. I just think he's too much of a train wreck any more to hire him. But, Saban is the guy that makes multi millions of dollars to make these decisions. Not me.

Luckily our coordinators don't get media time so that will help. I'm sure Saban laid down some pretty steep stipulations for hiring him so I think he will be ok. Time will tell though. Regardless, his wife sure will be fun to look at for however many games he makes it!

    He's got a 3 year deal.

That's 3 recruiting seasons...and he's never known the recruiting rules...

They won't find anything for a couple years. I say in year 3, they find something he's done, and then he's done after his contract runs out.

Why? Dude is a native to the area. He's built Vandy to be a pretty good team that competes in the SEC East. I don't see why he isn't a good hire for them :notsure:

I meant for him. I live in the area and i wouldnt want to be walking to the mess (sanctions and unrealistic administration) that he is. i know the money was good and it is a better football program, but a few more winning seasons at vandy and he could have had his choice of places.

:notsure: I guess it might have been his dream job? Bill O'Brian did a good job of cleaning it up a bit, so it's not like he's walking into the mess at its worst.

It's not the near death penalty that it was when o'brien took over. Still a tough situation, but if he can make Vandy semi-competitive, he should be able to do somethin with Penn st
