    Cool! And weird. I wonder if there is any open water underneath with fishies swimming around?
    Kinda reminded me of this. This is Abraham Lake in Banff...the lake freezes over and traps air bubbles underneath the ice. As the bubbles rise up they get flattened out under the ice and make all sorts of interesting formations.
