I think they are probably for the xm unit. I have the xm unit and it took 4 screws and I had no left overs.

Will XM work if I have the trial still and install this?

If you have a 2014 entune audio plus. This is exactly what I had. When you take out your stereo, the xm unit is a seperate part that attaches below the main unit. So when you swap, you will leave the xm module and connect it it the new unit. Same xm, same radio I'd. You won't have to do a thing.

It works, I have an 08. But you will have to rewire the steering wheel controls a certain way from what I know because it's different

Look what came in the mail today! Got it in 3 days and I'm in Hawaii. Thanks to FLtrucks. What an awesome deal. Installed it in 20 minutes. I might be looking to order another one as a gift if he/she gets more.

Someone please chime in. Specifically FLTrucks.

Will this work on JBL equipped vehicles?? I have reason to believe my stock unit may be defective and causing the digital noise I hear when certain music plays.

The older model jbls where crap IMO...the regular crappy speakers the base models sounded a lot better...

But I think they finally fixed that on the new ones...
What are you experiencing with your radio?

Digital noise. A popping sound coming out of the tweeters when playing certain songs. I could rewind the song and make it replay that particular portion from where I last heard the pop from and it'll happen again in the same spots every single time. Other songs it ceases to exist. So I'm totally stumped.

Other then that, this system BUMPS really good considering it's stock!
