Toyota Entune & Iphone 5s Issue

Downloaded Toyota Entune to my Iphone 5s and it connects with Toyota Entune via bluetooth but there's no audio. Any idea on how to fix this problem?

 

Buy a android phone

 

can't afford forking another new phone at this point .

In all seriousness.... Try this.

Delete the app and re install and see if it works then. If not switch to Android

 

What are you trying to get audio from? Bluetooth, pandora, iheart radio?

 

Is everything else working except audio?

 

Delete phone from etune unit. Reinstall it both as a phone and audio player. Should work.

 

I have both an Android and Apple phone, and trust me, switching to Android is not an improvement in functionality with the truck.

 

I live with android and work with iPhone.

So I just worked through this problem on mine. It would play calls and siri and VM through bluetooth but not music.

to make it work I had to delete my bluetooth device on phone side. Power off phone. Power up and re - pair. Worked like a charm. Seems to be a problem with devices that were paired before an update on the iPhone. Not sure which but my bluetooth was paired since before IOS7.


EDIT: the problem is phone side not your truck side.

Prior to trying the fix I explained above this option was not available in my controls menu.

Now it is there allows me to choose between iPhone or bluetooth device.

 

I've had very few problems with both of the android phones I've owned working with the head unit.

 

That's what I like about the android has a menu in bluetooth device to choose just phone or media to the bluetooth.

 

Maybe maybe not.... but I never had anything but issues with BT and Apple Phones connecting. I have never had any issues with any Android.

That is not to say Android is better I just haven't ever had any issuses.
