Installed the Icon extended travel struts last weekend and the 2.0 resi rears onto my custom leaf pack I built a while back. The ride difference from the 5100's is nutz. I just want to drive over speed bumps at full speed. Floats like a cloud over shitty roads. Excited to find some snow tomorrow and see how it rides. Best money I've ever spent on the pickup.

Could of been a POS classic. Neighbor has a 69 that's all original. Literally all original. Can't even get 8k for it on Craigslist. No rust. After 45 years you either need to rebuild or cut your losses.

The article says it was pristine, so I assume it wasn't in need of being rebuilt. Idk, I wouldn't trade in a classic that is in good shape for a new one, especially when you are already trading in a new muscle car that is only a couple years old.

I wonder how one sided the story is and if its a smear campaign. Seriously, get the lawyers involved and let them hash it out. If the facts are like the article, its pretty obvious. Otherwise it's the owners trying to milk the issue for their self entitlement. People and drama these days...

30th birthday coming up soon. What do you think fiberglass front fenders, rear leafs, rear bumps (icon kit) or none?

All of it. If you're going to do it, do it right. I would argue for SUA as well, but I know that's more than most dudes feel comfortable with doing themselves.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
All I know is I have yet to get pulled over in the Taco (knock on wood) - even with the illegal tint, no front plate, no mud flaps, and tinted tail lights. I think the cops here like my rig.

My Yukon, however, was a cop magnet. I got pulled over for anything and everything in that rig.
